27 Sep 2022 - 25 Nov 2022

“Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.” – Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good, and Evil

A person interacts with a lot of the data of his life and is affected by events and situations. The more he looks and deepens into things, the more he understands them, but in return, they influence him more and become part of his life experience and accumulated experiences… which appear later in his life in multiple contexts and forms, highlighting the role of art and the artist. In an attempt to form a state of awareness by observing the variables, asking questions, and interacting with reality in order to realize and understand it more.

Saeed Al-Madani presents his diverse experience with materials, practices, and forms of production, documenting a highly volatile phase of human history, in which conflicts are manifested in all corners of the planet, a phase that requires a lot of awareness and, in turn, a lot of influence and influence.

He wonders about the ability of art to look back at the viewer, inspired by a saying by Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good, and Evil “Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”

In this exhibition, Saeed monitors the mutual influence between the artwork and the artist, with all his experiences and awareness about world issues and the urgent and continuous changes in its various sectors, using his personal and diverse experiences of several artistic materials such as printing, photography, numbers and their sciences and performing arts.
